The Mercy-4 comes with many of the features you need to make it an "easy to complete" body-kit, some of which you are already familiar with like NOT having to stretch your donor car, NOT having to upgrade the suspension or engine, and NOT having to rewire the vehicle because you can use the original instrument cluster and wiring from the donor car, such as cruise control, air conditioning, and the stereo systems.
Your donor car has a powerful LS1 V8 Motor.
There is no need to spend thousands of dollars on an upgrade like people do with the Fiero.
NOTE: THE MERCY-4 COMES IN A REMOVABLE HARD TOP VERSION ONLY WITH BAT WINGS UP, AND IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A HARD TOP VERSION YOU CAN SIMPLY FIBERGLASS THE REMOVABLE TOP DOWN BEFORE YOU PAINT YOUR FINISHED MERCY-4 KIT CAR.

Some additional improvements to the new Mercy-4 are listed below:
1)For $350.00 we offer the Mercy door hinges.
2) The 1995-1999 Nissan Maxima windshield will work with the Mercy-4 without being trimmed or cut in any way. You simply have to install the windshield into the body-kit or have a glass shop do the installation. Also you can install a black, factory Maxima windshield molding that looks great on the MERCY-4 and it goes on the top and sides of the windshield and the new molding costs about $125.00 from NISSAN. We only added the top molding from Nissan when we completed the Mercy-4 display vehicle. The sides of the windshield look fine without any molding.
3) Black, plastic, factory Grill-Mesh that goes under the tail lights and between the tail lights will fit the rear section of the body-kit with only minor trimming of the mesh under the tail lights. The upper-rear, long section of mesh above the tag area will need no such trimming. Some people simply fill in the rear grill mesh areas with a thin fiberglass panel and then paint it gloss black in order to save money and NOT buy the factory grill mesh.
4) The Mercy-4 front-clip section is made to lift off the vehicle in case you need to work on the motor. The hood will open and close on the Mercy-4 just like a regular car but again the front clip section is designed to attach to the donor car by way of 5 carter-key pins and will lift off the car in case you need to work on or replace the motor.
Note: Read about the options you have with the MERCY-4's front end, for example you can fiberglass the front-clip down on the car so you will have to drop the motor out from under the Firebird if you needed a new motor or you can fiberglass down the hood and only have a removable front-clip. You can have both a removable front-clip and a working hood using the Dodge Stealth hood hinges to hinge the hood. It all depends how much work you want to put into your MERCY-4 project, because with the way the MERCY-4 has been designed you can either complete it the very quick and simple way and still look great driving around town and enjoying your ride or you can take the extra time to make your MERCY-4 even more improved by having for example a working hood and removable front-clip, real grill mesh installed, a working hatch and trunk panel, real Mercy tail-lights instead of homemade tail lights or factory Nissan Exterra tail-lights, working door glass instead of stationary door glass, working inside door handles instead of a door popper controlled by a small, black button, tinted quarter glass that you can see out of instead of tinted quarter glass that is glued on top of the quarter glass fiberglass area that simply appears to be quarter glass. You can do a $700.00 paint job or a $1,500.00 paint job or vinyl wrap your car in chrome, or in many other ways that the vinyl wrap will work. You can install the replica dash and console or use the Firebird's dash and console. You can have a real factory exhaust tip or a double stacked Ford Ranger 2"x8" stainless steel exhaust tip like we installed on the white Mercy-4. You can install a rear spoiler or have no spoiler. You can "flat-black" the rear hatch or glue on tinted flat glass. You can have stationary rear-view mirrors or easily have working powered mirrors. You can use RAIN-X on the windshield and have no wiper blade or have a working wiper using a long Dodge Caravan wiper arm. You can install $895.00 Corvette wheels that are 12" wide in the rear or use real wheels. You can use a $5.00 cheap head-light bulb or a $50.00 blue-colored "projector-type head-light bulb called a P1 and P6 projector bulb from eBay. You can upgrade the stereo to a touch-screen type or leave the Firebird stereo, with the MERCY-4 the options are yours.
5) For under $995.00 you can buy Corvette Z06 replica wheels which are 12" wide in the rear which bolts directly onto the Mercy-4 donor car hub without using any wheel adapters. You can also spend more money to put real wheels on the car and they too will bolt onto the Mercy-4 donor car without using any wheel adapters however you will need 4 wheel spacers that are 1" wide because the MERCY-4 is wider than the Firebird. The Corvette wheels come in a mesh design that DO NOT look like a Chevrolet product and they also come in alloy, chrome, or black colors. (Note: Go to the wheel tab on accessories page or click here.

The Mercy-4 can easily be lowered in the front by installing two new lowering coil springs in the front for about $100.00 which will lower the front-end about 1.5".
You can also install the lower section of the front bumper which is included with the Mercy-4 kit which is not shown in the photos of the gray car below which will make the car 3" lower in the front.
You can also go to Airbagit.com and buy an automatic air-ride suspension kit which is made up of two parts which is the air strut kit and the compressor kit which will have an air tank with compressor with it which will allow you to raise and lower the front-end up to 5" automatically by pressing button and the part number for the air struts for this system is FBX-F-PON-18 and the cost is $799.00 and part number for the compressor and gauges is Air-Manage-CT-05 and the cost is $299.00 for a total of about $1,100.00 and you can call Airbagit.com at 1-800-842-8789 ext. 216 and ask for Joy.
Notice the car above shows that the door glass has been installed and the power window works great. We bought an entire 2000 Saturn "S" model door for $125.00 and then took all the gaskets, window track, and door glass from it and made it work fantastic with the Mercy-4.
Also because this car has the LS-1 Firebird V8 motor it sounds very powerful and you will never get that powerful V8 sound out of any 4 or 6 cylinder motor.
The Mercy-4 is also even more powerful than a Firebird because the car is so much lighter after all the sheet metal is removed.
If you want a Fiero gas lid door you will need the Fiero GT version because it has a slight curve to it and you will need 3 pieces that make up the lid which is the GT lid, the black plastic bowl that comes with the lid and the small side latch that goes inside the black plastic bowl which holds the gas lid shut.
We used black rubber gas hose like people use for boats to connect the gas lid to the rear Firebird gas tank because the boat gas hose has a metal coil spring in it that prevents the hose from collapsing. The metal spring in the gas boat hose keeps the hose open at all times so the gas will flow from the gas lid to the gas tank without any problems.
You need to use gas line boat hose because the rubber hose is made for gas because some black hose will be dissolved when used with gas if the hose is not made for gas.
Note: in the photo above notice that after we lay the tinted quarter glass over the side quarter glass area and install the side bat-wings which will be in the up position; because the car appears more agressive when the bat-wings are up, notice that you will not be able to see that the motor is not in the rear. The rear hatch area will appear to have the motor in it however as you know the motor will remain in the front of the Mercy-4. For the three, rear-hatch panel louvers you can either simply paint them gloss black or glue down some 1/8" thick flat glass that has been tinted black.
Notice the photo above shows how wide and low the rear of the Mercy-4 looks. Also notice that to complete the rear section we will install the Mercy-4 Tail light housings with the 2005 Nissan Exterra Tail-lights and the 3 pieces of Lambo grill mesh which will be the 2 pieces under the tail-lights and the 1 piece above the tag area. We will also install the fiberglass lambo, replica, exhaust tip.
Also notice the wide 14" tires which make the car look very powerful.
The Firebird is so powerful that the motor will actually make the wide lambo 14" tires spin and leave black marks on the highway!
When you assemble your real spoiler you can make it as thin as you want; from 1/2 inch to 2 inches thick.
NOTE: FOR THE MERCY-2 OR MERCY-4 YOU CAN MAKE A 2000 SATURN 2 DOOR WINDOW GLASS WORK HOWEVER IT IS MUCH EASIER IF YOU BUY A COMPLETE DOOR FROM A 1989 TO 1993 TOYOTA CELICA AND USE THE DOOR GLASS, WINDOW MOTOR WITH METAL TRACK AND RUBBER GASKETS.
NOTE: WE WERE HAVING AN ISSUE WITH THE REAR TIRES SCRUBBING WHEN YOU HIT A BUMP IN THE ROAD AND THE FRONT TIRES SCRUBBING WHEN YOU TURNED SHARP TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT ON THE MERCY-4 BECAUSE WE HAD INSTALLED REAL LAMBO WHEELS AND TIRES ON THE CAR. IN ORDER FOR THE REAL LAMBO 18” TIRES NOT TO SCRUB ON THE MERCY-4 WE INSTALLED TWO 1.5” SPRING SPACERS ON EACH FRONT SPRING AND INSTALLED ADJUSTABLE AIR SHOCKS ON THE REAR.
THIS FIXED THE PROBLEM PERFECTLY.

MERCY-1 VS MERCY 2
Mercy 2 VS. Mercy 4 The difference between the Mercy-2 and the Mercy-4 is simple but important. The Mercy-2 is built on top of a Fiero or MR-2 OR Boxster. A lot of work needs to be done to receive an authentic level of
"performance", such as upgrading the engine, suspension, replacing the majority of the wiring, STRETCHING THE ENTIRE CAR, etc. The Mercy-4 compensates for this by building on top of a Camaro or Firebird, which gives you an already beefy engine (the same used in Corvettes), suspension, etc, with the benefit of being able to UTILIZE THE EXISTING WIRING FOR THE VARIOUS SYSTEMS SUCH AS CRUISE CONTROL, AIR CONDITIONING, AND STEREO.
While you may pay less for the Mercy-2 body kit, in the end you'll be paying more to achieve similar performance that the Mercy-4 kit allows you to achieve at no additional cost.

The photo above shows the right front corner of the Mercy-4 on the Firebird's front-end after the Firdbird has been modified with a metal cutting saw.

The photo above shows the MERCY-2 being modified to become the MERCY-4 and using the Firebird as a donor car for the FIRST TIME IN HISTORY. Builder have used the Fiero for years but never a LS1, V8 Firebird. Also notice the wide, lambo wheel on the right rear of the Firebird donor car. The people in the photo are Jackie Johnson and the fiberglass tech. and the welder/fabricator tech.
The photo above shows the Firebird after it took us ONLY THREE HOURS to modify it with a metal-cutting saw so that it would become the MERCY-4 donor car. The MERCY-4 body-kit will now fit the Firebird and all the Firebird needs is some mounting braces to hold the body-kit to the car. NOTE: We paid $1,250.00 for the rolled-over Firebird and the car runs, drives and sounds great and the A/C and cruise control works. NOTE: To BUILD a LS1, V8 donor car,rolling chassis like this would cost well over $15,500.00 after you paid for the motor, trans., rear-end, rollings chassis with suspension and brakes, etc. Also notice how wide the lambo wheel is on the right rear compared to the Firebird wheel on the right front. Also, this Firebird donor car is so powerful that it will easily spin and smoke the 14" wide wheels on the rear without any problem, and if you know about cars you know it takes a lot of horse power to smoke a 14" tire.
The photo above shows the right front area of the Firebird after it has been modified to fit the MERCY-4. The battery will go to the rear of the car behind the seats and the Firebird's air filter will be replaced with a K. and N. high performance air filter that will run from the top of the motor over to the left or right side of the radiator.
In the photo above, notice how the tops of the left and right fender aprons; which is the part of the Firebird that the tops of the Firebird's fenders bold to, are cut at an angle so that the MERCY-4's front-end will fit the donor car. NOTE: The Firebird is sitting on top of a black, metal automotive- lift which is not part of the car.
The photo above shows how a section of the left door hinge piller also known as the left cawl is cut out and a flat metal plate will be welded back in this area to give the car body strength. This area has to be removed so the lambo door hinges will work properly.
The photo above show the Firebird's left rear quarter panel. NOTE: The large hump in the rear of the Firebird is where the gas tank is positioned on a Firebird and because of this big hump you will only have about 6" in the hatch area of the MERCY-4 after the MERCY-4 body-kit is lowered onto the Firebird. You will however be able to have a storage area behind the seats and in the small area behind the gas tank which could be used for a spare tire.
The photo above shows the left rear area of the modified Firebird. NOTE: You will need to run an extention hose for the gas tank fill line so that the MERCY-4's gas cap is near the left rear quarter glass area of the MERCY-4. You will also need two items that you can get from any FIERO, GT version parts car which is the gas lid/door and the black plastic bowl that goes behind the Fiero, GT version's gas lid. The FIERO's gas lid is smaller than the Firebirds and looks better on the MERCY-4 because it is smaller and the MERCY-4 was designed to fit this exact gas lid. The FIERO, GT version's gas lid is slightly curved and the regular FIERO's gas lid is flat. You will need the slightly curved FIERO, "GT" version gas lid.
The photo above shows the right rear area of the modified Firebird.
NOTE: For the area in front of the gas tank which will be a storage area you will receive two divider panels. The divider panel that goes behind the seats but near the gas tank will keep gas fumes from entering the passanger compartment of the MERCY-4 and the divider panel that will go directly behind the seats will allow you access to the "BEHIND THE SEATS STORAGE AREA."
The photo above shows how a section of the right door hinge piller also known as the right cawl is cut out and a flat metal plate will be welded back in this area to give the car body strength. This area has to be removed so the Mercy door hinges will work properly.
The photo above is of the right front section of the modified Firebird. Notice that the right front rocker-panel is bent; which is located behind the right front tire, from the wreck but that will not effect the finished MERCY-4.
The photo above is of the Firebird's right rear frame rail and notice that we left is about 9.25" long.
The photo above is of the right front Firebird's frame rail and notice that we laid a yellow pencil on top of the right front frame rail at an angle. The frame-rail's corner will also be cut-off and it will be cut at an angle so that the MERCY-4's front bumper will go in front of the frame rail.
The photo above shows the modified Firebird with a Firebird wheel on the right front and different styled wheel on the right rear. NOTE: A set of used 14" wide lambo wheels were bought from eBay for $3,500.00 with like new tires. You can also use the 12" wide Corvette wheels form eBay or corvettegarage.com for $895.00 for a set of 4 and then you'll have to buy the new tires.
The photo above shows the right front area of the modified Firebird and notice the right front Firebird's wheels was cracked when the Firebird rolled-over in the Firebird wreck. The Firebird is sitting on a black, automotive-lift and the black lift is not part of the car.
The photo above shows the Firebird's right front fender apron after it was cut with a metal cutting saw so that the MERCY-4 body-kit will fot the car.
The photo above shows how we welded a flat metal plate back into the right side cawl area after the right door's hinge piller was cut out of the cawl so that the lambo door hinge will work correctly. NOTE: The flat plate of steal gives the car strength in that area and the pointy piece at the top is not required to be in the metal plate. The pointy at the top left are of the plate will be cut off and removed.
NOTE: The top, front and rear view of the MERCY-4 is exactly like the MERCY-2. In order for the MERCY-4 to fit the FIREBIRD we basiclly took 5" out of the quarter-panel area behind the door and then added 5" into the door and fender area. (NOTE: The "door and fender area is the area behind the front tire.) (NOTE: The MERCY-2 had 3" of body-kit behind the front tires and the Firebird had 8" of metal body panel behind the front tires; therefore the MERCY-2 body-kit had to be slightly modified to make it work on the Firebird. The MERCY-4 screams HIGH-END, SUPERCAR with European styling.
The photo above is of the left rear section of the MERCY-4 and it was still under construction when this photo was taken.
NOTE: The 1" wheel spacer will make the wide lambo wheels look perfect on the MERCY-4.
The photo above is of the MERCY-4 side-view and when the car is painted and when the car has the wide wheels and tires installed on it then it will look fantastic. Also the left rear area will be lifted slightly before the car is finished. Also note that the front, rear and top view of the MERCY-4 looks just like the MERCY-2.
NOTE: We suggest you read all about the MERCY-1 and MERCY-2 and MERCY-4 before you start your kit because you will learn many good ideas as to how to best complete your MERCY-4 SUPERCAR-replica.
NOTE: When this MERCY-4 is finished the front-end will be lowered 1.5" to give the car a better stance.
NOTE: Notice the $450.00 "curved spolier" on the rear.
NOTE: MERCY-4 SPECIFICATIONS ARE 101.5 FOR THE WHEELBASE WHICH IS ONLY 3” SHORTER THAN THE REAL DEAL. THE OVERALL LENGTH IS 180.5” WHICH IS ONLY 1” SHORTER THAN THE REAL DEAL. THE OVERALL WIDTH IS 82.5” WHICH IS 1.5” WIDER THAN THE REAL DEAL. THE FRONT FENDER AREA OF THE MERCY-4 IS 75.5” WIDE WHICH MAKES THE CAR MUCH SMALLER ON THE FRONT AND VERY WIDE ON THE REAR WHICH IS THE EXACT LOOK YOU ARE TRYING TO ACHIEVE.

Go test drive the newest FIREBIRD you can find like a 2001 or 2002 year model, but make sure it is a FIREBIRD FORMULA or TRANS-AM and you will be blown away at how powerful the car is in its "stock" condition, then imagine how much more powerful the car will be when you cut much of the weight off the car when you modify it to fit the MERCY-4 and then you also add the K. and N. high-performance air-filter and the high-performance BORLA exhaust. (NOTE: It is up to you if you want to cut the catalytic convertors off the car to make it even more powerful.) 1. Body kit fits perfectly on your donor car and all parts of the body kit fit, including doors, and all panels. Also the factory front and rear grill mesh fit perfectly into the Mercy-4.
